Single Page Application is a technology that allows you to display individual page elements without having to reload the entire page.

There are many solutions to create a SPA Single Page Application.

The most popular are: JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Angular 1, Angular 2, React, Backbone.

The choice of a specific solution to create a website in the form of a Single Page Application should primarily take into account the specifics of the project.

Especially the size of the project and its functionality. The bigger you build a Single Page Application project, the more advanced solution you should consider.

It may also be the case that you are doing a small project right now, but it is planned to be expanded in the future. Then it is worth considering advanced solutions, e.g. of type, immediately. Angular.

The Single Page Application SPA course the construction of modern applications and websites will include the creation of SPA using:

  • jQuery, HTML5, JavaScript
  • Angular 2
  • jQuery Mobile

 

 

If, when creating a Single Page Application project - the size of the project was taken into account, I would suggest choosing:

  • for small SPA projects - JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, HTML5
  • for large SPA projects - Angular 2, React or Backbone.

Why not Angular 1 to create a Single Page Application? Angular 1 is a very cool and functional solution, but it seems to be a thing of the past.

His successor is Angular 2 and about Angular 1 you should slowly forget?

 

The simplest solution when building a Single Page Application is to use the possibilities offered by HTML5 and jQuery.

Of course, you should support CSS3, which will cause that the created Single Page Application project will be not only functional, but also very nice.

AJAX and JSON technologies are almost always extremely useful for creating Single Page Application projects.

However, AJAX and JSON are not always necessary to create Single Page Application projects. Using jQuery or jQuery Mobile, we can create a page that, despite having all the content in its code, will display only the part indicated by clicking the user. But you will find more information about this in the next parts of my training.
